Here are pictures from our first big snow of the winter. Altogether it snowed about eight inches..plus we had some ice mixed in too. The weather has been warm the past couple of days so the snow has melted pretty good, but we still have about two inches on the ground.

I love freshly fallen snow. So pretty. Not much fun to drive in though...
I agree. Janet and I found a new form of entertainment during the snow fall..watching people skid out! It was great fun..but I am glad it wasn't me out there skidding out!
At least you had snow. Much better than freezing rain then sleet. Ours just looked like snow.
I think snow is so beautiful. I love to sit inside by the fireplace and watch it snow. Unfortunately we usually just get ice and it is so slippery----I can attest to that, I still have a huge BONK on the back of my head!
