The purple tv
For those of you who had to ever endure a broken tv this is for you. You see we had two tvs exactly the same kind..had them both for about two years. One of the tvs has already bit the dust & the other one I fear is shortly behind it. The reason I know is that our one remaining working tv has developed purple spots on the screen. To a short extent is kinda funny seeing purple headed men broadcasting the news, but more annoying then anything else! I have caught my self blinking & rubbing my eyes in a vain attempt to make the spots go away...but of course they never do. I really liked our tvs too!! But alas the purple people on the screen are letting me know the end is near...glancing every now & then at the purple tv.

It's hard to believe living without a tv but I've known people to do so. I had a boss who had one but only watched college basketball and forbid his kids to watch anything and he had 8 of them. But I wouldn't recommend that to anyone, especially with little kids. Luckily for us all of our tvs have lasted a long time and we've replaced them when we wanted to not when it needed to. We've lived through the remote that wouldn't work but never purple.
this is the first time I've seen a tv turn purple..there's also a small patch of green. Very colorful!
The purple and green is annoying!!!! Please Santa, bring me a 60"inch big screen for my birthday. OH! What's that? Santa already came and he doesn't bring birthday gifts. Shoot! Guess I'm out of luck.... LOL
Sounds like the old tv has bit the dust. Time to invest in a new one. I know it must be really aggravating to you that between two of them, they have both "died" already. I personally expect a tv to last longer than a couple years. You might want to check your warranty, but it is probably only guaranteed for one year. DARNIT!!!
